Hello.  I am offering a lovely Rosenthal porcelain Peynet mermaid August trinket dish from my own personal collection.
This piece is seldom seen and is very hard to find.
The August trinket dish is also the only monthly one featuring Raymond Peynet's mermaid; the others display the two lovers involved in various activities central to that particular month.
The trinket dish's detailing is exquisite.
It features a smiling mermaid holding the arm of the male lover from Rosenthal's Studio Line.
On a sunny day, he is serenading her by the ocean.
There is a sailboat in the distance and a starfish near the mermaid's tail.
The trinket dish has a cobalt blue background and a matching stripe along the edge of the dish.
The figures are white.
It has a glossy finish and is very smooth to the touch.
On its back, it says Rosenthal  GERMANY  Peynet  S studio line.
There are no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, paint loss, or repairs.
The mermaid trinket dish is in mint condition.
Its dimensions are 4" h  x  4" w  x  5/8" d.
