Presenting a direct descendant of the Roman god Manualus, this spectacular 22k mile California owned Gallardo is a proper sports car with the correct number of pedals (that's 3 for the uninformed). Sold new at Lamborghini Newport Beach, the vehicle was an Orange County resident prior to moving to the Bay Area in 2016. Finished in Giallo Midas Pearl, the exterior tri-coat paint presents as it should with minimal blemishes, no signs of undercarriage scraping, sandblasting, pitting or environmental damage. The OEM wheels are finished in Gloss Nero and exhibit no scuffs, pitting or curb rash. During prior ownership, the underside of the front bonnet was signed by the first man to have driven the car after completion, the famed Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni. Finally, the optional colored calipers are free of tool marks, pitting or heat discoloration.The interior is wrapped in Nero Porseus leather with deviated stiching as well as the leather car cards and lower dashboard all in Giallo Taurus. Overall the leather has aged well with minimal patina. The sufaces remain soft and correct in color with no shrinkage or excessive wear. The driver's seat bolster shows minimal creasing and no discoloration for ingress/egress. The driver's door sill does show some minor scuffing that is consistent with the age of the vehicle, but remains intact with no cuts or leather deterioration. The carpets remain plush and correct in color, show no signs of excessive wear, fading, or moisture exposure, and the OEM floor mats are present as well. Also, some carbon fibre was added to the door pulls and switchgear to compliment the factory carbon bits. The 520bhp 5 liter V-10 powerplant's cold start up is without incident showing no smoke, valve train noise or sign of engine leak down. The gated 6-spd manual gearbox shifts properly and smoothly with no sign of synchro wear, and the clutch engages strong and smooth without sign of abuse or flywheel overheating. This Toro Nero remains mechanically stock, and mostly stock cosmetically with the only non-factory updates being a refinish of the tail lamp lenses in translucent black gloss, later model Gallardo Carbon Fibre mirrors, a gloss black refinish on the OEM wheels, and the aforementioned carbon bits in the interior. Factory owner's portfolio is present with all literature and a single master key is present as well.
